The 26th edition of Seafood Expo Global, and the 20th edition of Seafood Processing Global – taking place in Brussels, Belgium from 24 to 26 April – look poised to break more records in 2018, according to event organizer Diversified Communications.
Last year, more than 28,500 attendees from 150 countries registered to attend the event, which included 1,859 exhibiting companies, ranking it amongst the largest seafood trade shows in the world. Next month, visitors to SEG18 and SPG18 will have even more exhibit space to peruse, Diversified said, with the event “on track to maximize the entire footprint available for the event.”
“It’s so exciting to see companies’ growing interest in participating in the event,” Diversified Communications Event Director Wynter Courmont said. “Records are meant to be broken. At this time, we are still receiving requests to exhibit in this year’s edition and the event has surpassed last year’s numbers in terms of exhibit space by more than 1,000 square meters.”
Together, Seafood Expo Global and Seafood Processing Global will house exhibiting suppliers from 79 countries in 2018, with more than 70 national and regional pavilions set to showcase their seafood products and equipment at the upcoming joint exposition. New pavilions from Colombia (ProColombia) and France (Business France and Lorient Bretagne Sud) are scheduled to come to Brussels in April as well, according to Diversified [Editor's note: Diversified Communications owns and operates SeafoodSource.]
Seafood Expo Global will occupy halls 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, and the Patio, as well as part of hall 8. Meanwhile, Seafood Processing Global, which highlights all things processing in the industry, will occupy halls 4 and 8.
