U.S.-based seafood company Ocean Garden Products Inc. has tapped Lance Leonard as its new president and CEO, effective as of 20 January.
Leonard comes to Ocean Garden after serving as president and CEO of True Drinks Inc., a private equity startup company situated in the healthy beverages business, since 2012. Over the course of his career so far, Leonard has worked for M&M/Mars in various sales and management capacities. In 2000, he starting managing both national account teams and division sales teams for Nestle Waters; Leonard was promoted to Western U.S. Zone Manager by Nestle Waters in 2006, and then to Director of Global Customers for the company in Paris, France. During his time with Nestle Waters, Leonard helped to construct strategies for a number of emerging brands including Nestle Pure Life, Perrier, and San Pellegrino.
Ocean Gardens’ newest leader is enthused to take up the helm, especially during such a dynamic period for the industry.

Ocean Gardens, which primarily deals in packaged wild-and farm-raised Mexican shrimp, will be exhibiting at the upcoming Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America (Booth No. 833) event, being held from 6 to 8 March in the heart of Boston.
