The full itinerary of onsite experiences, events, and networking opportunities at the 42nd edition of Seafood Expo North America, taking place 10 to 12 March 2024 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A., has been released.
This year’s schedule will include events at the new Wave Makers’ Zone, located at booth #3165, an area that will serve as a networking hub for industry leaders, and a platform to showcase the latest market innovations and discoveries. The Wave Makers’ Zone will host the new product showcases, the annual Seafood Excellence Awards, live recording sessions at The Podcast Reef, a women in the seafood industry networking event, demonstrations, and the expo’s annual oyster-shucking competition.
The Seafood Expo North America’s New Product Showcase will display recently launched seafood products, condiments, and culinary dishes introduced by exhibiting companies over the last 18 months. The Featured Product Showcase will spotlight the best seafood products launched more than 18 months ago.
The winners of the 2024 Seafood Excellence Awards will be announced at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 10 March. The awards acknowledge outstanding new seafood products in the North American market in both the retail and foodservice sectors.
At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, 11 March, the 16th annual Seafood Expo North America Oyster-Shucking Competition will see the best shuckers in the U.S. face off against one another and the clock to shuck as many oysters as they can in a time-limited contest.
On Monday, 11 March, from 3 to 3:20 p.m., there will be a session on AI-driven project management and insight on leveraging cutting-edge data collection and tools, at the Career Navigator Hub (booth #66).
Seafood professionals will also have access to both individual and group business coaching sessions at the Career Navigator Hub (booth #66).
In addition to products featured throughout the exhibit hall, a series of Seafood Tastings will highlight a variety of species in the Wave Makers' Zone throughout the event.

A comprehensive conference program will take place all three days of the event, headlined by a keynote address from Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs Professor Mark Blyth at 11 a.m. on Sunday, 10 March in room 153CB. The full conference program includes more than 30 educational sessions featuring seafood, foodservice, retail, environmental, and governmental experts in panels and presentations covering a number of topics relevant to the seafood industry.
