Leading figures in aquaculture have selected 12 finalists to compete for the top prize in the Aquaculture Innovation Summit’s Innovation Showcase, Aquaculture Innovation Europe announced on 19 July.
The finalists were chosen from a pool of over 25 promising start-up companies paving a way for global aquaculture. Each finalist is actively searching for financial investment or strategic partnerships, and will present their novel technology and/or innovation on the Showcase’s main stage in September.
The finalists, chosen across three categories, are as follows:

The Aquaculture Innovation Summit is scheduled to take place from 11 to 12 September, 2018, in London. Over 120 industry leaders, public institutions, start-ups, and investors are slated to attend the event, which celebrates innovation and collaboration within the aquaculture industry.
